About 1st Street Aesthetics and Massage

Here at 1st Street Aesthetics and Massage, we offer a wide variety of individualized treatments, from full body massage, which is relaxing and therapeutic, to infrared saunas, which are energizing and cleansing. Also offered, a full spectrum of skin care, including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, targeted acne treatments and European facials.

At 1st Street Aesthetics and Massage we are very caring and nurturing, but also run a professional practice and maintain a strict code of ethics in our work environment to provide a quality experience for our clients. We believe we owe ourselves, from time tot time, a small measure of tranquility to maintain a healthy outlook on life. Look and feel your best, inward, as well as outward.

Meet Angie Schlothauer

Hello there! Welcome to our website for 1st Street Aesthetics and Massage. We are very excited to meet you.

After owning and operating Advanced Bodyworks in Las Cruces, New Mexico for nearly 25 years, we are excited to have begun our Texas adventure! I have always been fascinated with the healing techniques of massage and skin care and opening up 1st Street Aesthetics and Massage allows me to continue providing these services.

Massage Therapy Education

I find what I do very rewarding. Massage can not only provide relaxation, but it increases circulation and decreases pain.

I am a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist (CNMT) and graduated from Massage Therapy School in 1993. I am also nationally certified through National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage Bodywork (NCBTMB). As I am committed to maintaining a professional and safe environment for all of my clients, I am a member of AMBP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals).

I graduated from New Mexico State University with a business degree the previous year in 1992.

Aesthetician Education

I enjoy helping people have healthy, radiant skin. Even though skincare is seen as a luxury for some it is a necessity for many individuals. We are proud to provide these services and take pride in only utilizing the best products on the market to do so.

I received my aesthetics and nail certification in 2006. As I am committed to maintaining a professional and safe environment for all of my clients, I am a member of ASCP (Associated Skin Care Professionals).
